FAQ

What is Dramatorium?

A clothing label based in the United Kingdom. We design and make structured pieces in small runs, released in numbered chapters.

What is a chapter?

A chapter is a collection. Each one is drawn, patterned and made as a group, released together, and closed when it sells out. Chapters are numbered rather than named after seasons, because we do not work to a seasonal calendar.

Will pieces be made again once they sell out?

No. A chapter is made once and then closed. When a piece is gone it does not return, and it will not appear in a later chapter in a different colour.

Who designs your clothes?

Everything is designed in-house. Every piece is drawn first, then patterned by hand, then made. Nothing is bought in from a supplier catalogue and rebranded.

Where are your clothes made?

England.

Are you a sustainable brand?

We make in small runs, so we do not overproduce and we do not hold unsold stock at the end of a season. Our outer fabrics are natural. Our linings are not.

We are not going to call ourselves sustainable on that basis. It is a word that has been used loosely enough to mean very little, and we would rather tell you exactly what we do and let you decide.

Do you have a shop?

Not yet. Everything is sold here.

How do I find my size?

Our size guide has the full measurement chart and how to measure yourself. Take your measurements rather than going by the size you usually buy, because sizing varies wildly between brands and ours is cut to a specific chart.

Size & Fit Guide

What sizes do you make?

XS to L at present. Small runs mean a narrow range.
