The point of it
A shirt and trousers becomes deliberate. A plain dress becomes a decision. Nothing else you own does that in ten seconds.
Made properly and slowly
Every seam is closed and finished. There is no overlocking anywhere in either piece. Boning runs through the panels so the shape holds while you wear it rather than giving up after an hour.
Open the lining and it looks the same as the outside. That is the part nobody sees and the part that takes the longest.
The outer fabric is cotton, and it is natural. The lining is satin, and it is not. We would rather tell you that than call it silk.
Chapter I was designed by Julija Peniaz, who drew every piece, cut the patterns, and chose the materials.
Dramatorium is small on purpose. We are not a warehouse. We are just some women in England making things we want to exist.
It is worn over other clothing rather than instead of it. Over trousers, a dress, a skirt or a waistcoat. It changes the shape of an outfit you already own.
Peplum Green is one size, laced at the back, running from 70 cm at the waist to around 80 cm. Peplum Black comes in two sizes, 67 to 70 cm and 71 to 76 cm, with a buckle that adjusts inside each. Both are worn over your clothes, so measure over whatever you plan to wear underneath.
On Peplum Black, size up. The buckle takes in more easily than it lets out.
